The CCM 1.9 Senior Knee & Thigh Pad uses an injection-molded cap and deep knee support to guard against puck impact. Articulated plastic thigh pads also sit above the knee to cover areas left exposed by the bottom of pants. The grip on the adjustable elastic straps helps to secure the knee guard in place, in addition to included loops to tie into goal pants or a garter.
